Sweater Progress Sunday: Hedgerow

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program of Sock Progress Sunday to bring you Sweater Progress Sunday!

One of my goals for 2016 is to master sweater knitting.  Or at least make wearable sweaters if I can’t reach master level.  The first one I am trying is Hedgerow by Ann Kingstone.  You know, because making a sweater isn’t hard enough, I’ve got to do a fair isle sweater with steeking as my first one.  🙂

Anyway, these are the colors I picked.  I am hoping it turns out to be very spring color inspired and that the colors all match.

And here is the start of my sweater!  Bottom hem and first six rows of the chart are complete.  I know it doesn’t look like much…yet.  But I have spit sliced and and fair isled my way this far, and I am having a lot of fun.  Hopefully I will have more progress to show soon.
