I imagine if I just worked on one project at a time, I would make more progress on my projects. But that’s not how I work, so here is an update on the same socks you saw last time I had a sock post, plus another pair also previously mentioned.
First up is the Baby W(h)ale socks. Yes, the missing “h” still bothers me. If you recall, I am making this out of Biscotte Yarns Bis-Sock base in the Baby Wale colorway. One sock is finished, and I am just past the toe on sock number two. I am still really loving how soft this yarn is and it has been a pleasure to work with. As usual, I used the Fish Lips Kiss Heel on a simple toe up vanilla sock. I am hoping I can finish this pair in the next week or so.
The second pair started is the Trenchcoat colorway of Turtlepurl Yarns Striped Turtle Toes base. I am about half way done with the foot, and am enjoying knitting with this yarn. The nylon content makes for a springy feeling as I knit, and it is knitting up much softer than I expected it to. Can’t wait to find out how the pattern will develop as I finish sock one.
