One of my closest friends is throwing a party for her husband’s 50th birthday. She is fairly crafty herself, but asked me to take some store bought bunting and add letters to it so that she could use it to decorate the cigar bar area.
Her theme is black and white, so all I did was cut out some black and white letters using the Silhouette Cameo, adhere with some sticky dots, and voila!
The cutting itself was easy-peasy. I chose the font I wanted, and then used the offset function to cut the background letters in a slightly larger size. I used the standard cardstock settings recommended in the Silhouette software. The hardest part about this project was figuring out in what order to use the pre-cut bunting pieces. You’d be surprised at how hard it was to find an order that looked somewhat symmetrical and not like I just chose an order at random.
