Day 17 is where Jimmy Beans takes me back to France. In today’s box of the Craftvent calendar we received more Le Bien Aimee in their BFL Tough Sock base. The colorway is Fiori. Of all the yarn received in this calendar, I am most excited to knit with this, as it is the only […]
Today in the Jimmy Beans Craftvent for day 16, we get more Manos del Uruguay Allegria in Black. I know I mentioned my love for Manos del Uruguay when this color popped up earlier in the Calendar, but it’s worth repeating. It’s wonderful yarn!
In today’s Craftvent box we get more Tosh Merino Light in Gracenotes. I am loving how much MadTosh is in this project.
Today in Craftvent, we get more Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in Pewter. My current semester of grad school ends Tuesday, so I am really looking forward to making some progress in this project next week.
We’ve made it to the halfway point! We are most likely going to see boxes 1-12 repeated now in the Jimmy Beans Craftvent calendar, as the pattern is knit in two halves. As expected, Box 13 contains our old friend, Tosh Merino Light in Dirty Panther.

This morning in the Craftvent calendar, we have a repeat color. The day 11 box included more Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in Pewter. I am so behind in the knitting. Hoping to have some time this weekend to work on this a bit.
Today was a long day of travel home from my recent trip, so I didn’t get to open today’s packages until quite late. First up, let’s see what Jimmy Beans had in store for me. Today’s yarn was more from Anzula in the Nebula base in Au Natural as the colorway. I think it’s going […]
Today from Jimmy Beans, more MadTosh! The base is once again Tosh Merino Light, this time in the Copper Pink colorway. The depth of the color is very pretty in person. Can’t wait to see how it knits up.
Finally, we got some color up in this house! I was beginning to wonder where the sugar plum in the sugar plum color I chose for this kit was going to crop up. Today’s yarn is Anzula Nebula in the Black Cherry colorway. Anzula makes beautiful, squishy yarns. As a California company, I find it […]
